Upstate Snuggles

Who says guys don't like to snuggle?  Oliver got lots of them from his Pops and Uncles:

Little Skipper

Oliver took his maiden voyage on a boat on the waters of Conesus Lake.  Pops and Grandma bought him a special life jacket to ensure he was safe and legal.

Smiles!

Oliver has started to smile (and not just for gas!), and if you're lucky, maybe he'll give you one...

Uncle Jeff got one:

But as quick as he can give you a smile:
He will take it away!

Upstate Par-tay

Oliver was busy this past week meeting new friends and family that the blog has been neglected.

He traveled upstate to his country house (Pops and Grandma's) for a party to welcome him, his soon-to-be Aunt Jessica, and new cousin Sebe to the family.  Here are a few of the people he met and some scenes from the party:

Mom's Fears

Cradle cap grosses mom out, so before going to see her co-workers, she took an ounce of prevention and rubbed baby oil in on Oliver's head before his bath.  Apparently it also makes for great hair product even after washing his hair 5 times.

Boy Genius

At only 6 weeks, 6 days, Oliver is a young Einstein.  Wait for it at 7 seconds, but note how he directs the toys! It's also evident by the power in his arm that he is a young Ike Davis, with the dashing good looks of David Wright.

For those out there who are Met fans as well as Oli fans, it has been decided that Oli will be a fan of Ike Davis since it is the rookie year for them both. In addition to making great plays, Ike seems like a nice guy (although not the hottie that David is).  David will of course remain a mentor to them both.

Pool Time

Mom's co-workers came out to meet Oliver and get a little pool time during the heat.

Snuggling with Mom

How Oli Sees It

The view from tummy time.

Dualing Bouncy Seats

Oliver hosted his first play date Thursday with his friend Luke.  Luke has a few pounds (and weeks) on Oli but he's determined to catch up.

Showers Sure are Boring

Oliver waited patiently in his bouncy seat while mom showered, and looked pretty cute.

So excited to see Dad!

After returning home from his grandparent's, Oliver was so excited to see Dad he pooped himself (and on Dad).
